pages When Nostradamus prophesies to the French court of a great massacre which will take place on the streets of Paris, the young King Charles only laughs. However, his mother, Catherine de'Medici, believes Nostradamus can truly see the future. Mélisande, the minstrel's daughter also believes and turns to the soothsayer for help when the tragedy he predicted affects her family. When Nostradamus dies, he leaves Mélisande the secret of the royal line of France and it's up to her to protect it and to fulfill Nostradamus' final prophecy.
