Geoffrey Ashe (1923–2022) là học giả người Anh chuyên về Arthurian legend và lịch sử văn hoá tôn giáo, tác giả của nhiều công trình nghiên cứu về vua Arthur và truyền thống tiên tri phương Tây. Cuốn bách khoa này của ông tập hợp hơn một trăm mục từ về tiên tri, trải từ nhân vật (Evangeline Adams, Angelic Pope), khái niệm (Antichrist, Apocalypse), đến các chủ đề như chiêm tinh, tiên tri trong chính trị và văn học.
